Good Afternoon!

Just an update that I should be back up and blogging for Monday!  I have been dealing with a few things my end!  Health, Family and School! To my followers I would like to apologise for keeping you waiting and thank you kindly for taking the time to follow my blog! I hope life is being kind to you all and treating you well!

May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Good Afternoon!

As you can see my blog is getting a make over.  I am so excited I have actually managed to work out how to make the banners myself.  So now I can up date and change my blog regularly.

This is what has been keeping me busy for the past week. Updating my blog and sorting my website.

Hope you like the changes I am making.  The digital images in my banner are both my own, my children's and I have also incorporate a few from Trina at Digi Scrap Kits. The banner background is from Basic Grey.  These are one of my favourite papers to use for scrapbooking.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hugs

Time to get busy!

Monday Morning!

The weeks are flying by again!  It's already nearing the end of March.  As a child time seemed to go so slow. Now days time is faster than ever.  All those unfinished projects.  I have decided to make a commitment to myself to complete them!  I have a mountain of unfinished scrapbooking layouts which I started with all the best intensions of completing them. Now its time to get them up to date.  So over the next few weeks I will also be posting some layouts that I have completed. I hope you will like them.  I figured if I commit myself to my blog then I have to do them. I will be dedicating a day on my blog especially to scrapbooking. However I will also be doing other things like card making, Copic tutorials, and other art projects that I have been dabbling in as well.  I want to inspire you and give you some ideas on creating new and fun projects.  Art, Design and Crafts are a wonderful outlet. That feeling of getting lost in a project and the end result that you completed something that looks so wonderful is fantastic. So with that in mind this will be how I would like things to progress on my blog.

I want my blog not to be simply a card, scrapbooking or craft blog it is all of these combined.  I know there are crafters out there that are dedicated and are just into card making,  scrapbooking or craft.  However I am a multi tasking type of girl. Yes I love to scrapbook however what I have learned in scrapbooking has crossed over into card making and visa versa. I also love to paint and draw. So I am hoping to provide a little special and something for everyone. What ever you love I hope you find inspiration here with me.  Starting next week.........The Week will goes as follows...........

Make it Mondays will be Cards, Cards, Cards. ( Card making tips and ideas )

Talented Tuesdays will be Guest Designers. However I think I will run something a little differently here. I have decided I am sure there are a lot of you who have wonderful art work and wish to display it however are maybe a little unsure how to post on a blog or ever not sure if your work is good enough. I want to display your work.  It would be my pleasure to do so. So I will be setting up a link where  you can email me photographs of your completed project and I will post it for you.

What's Up Wednesday will be updates and progress with my business ventures. I am in the process of dealing with a manufacturer at the moment to bring out a new line of rubber stamps. This is very exciting for me and as I progress I will keep you posted.

Tutorial Thursdays Every second Thursday will be Copic Tutorials with Scrappy Go Lucky. Which will also lead into classes being held at Scrappy Go Lucky.

Free For All Fridays will be what ever takes my fancy. I will post painting drawings, or something of a similar nature.

Scrappy Saturdays every second Saturday will be dedicated to those completed scrapbooking layouts I keep promising myself. I will give you examples of layouts I have completed and also provide step by step instructions too. Here is a sneak peak of the one I started this Saturday gone and I will be posting the full step by step instructions this Saturday coming. I will also be posting a link on the La La Land Blog Customer Gallery when its completed.

I Look forward to inspiring you and seeing what you create too.

First Blog Post

Welcome to my new blog. If you taking the time to read this I would like to thank you so much in advance...  I am a mother of two beautiful, gorgeous children Ayshia Leigh aged 12 years and Jostyn Erich aged 8 years.  They are my life, my world. Simply put the reason that I breathe.

When I discovered I was to be a mother. (Which just happened to be on Mother's Day 12 years ago). I did what most mothers do and placed my life on hold.  I stopped everything to give my children the love, time and devotion I thought they needed. I look at them now and how beautiful they are and I know they are going to be amazing young adults. "Wow" can they blow me away with there thoughtfulness and this overwhelming ability they have to give love, show love and receive it.  Now is where I need to show them that I can do all the things that I have taught them to be. And this starts by showing them that I too can love, including giving love back to myself and loving what I do. So with this in mind I have made a few decisions .....

I have decided to finish what I started over twelve years ago.  I am half way through my Bachelor of Arts and Design one of the things which I placed on hold to experience the joys of motherhood. So I am back. I have figured now its time.  Its time for me to find myself again and do what I love and thats to paint, draw, scrapbook, make cards and express myself in anyway I can.  I love to get lost in my artwork, losing all sense of time, forgetting any worries or troubles that might be lurking.

I should also probably mention I am also currently half way through my Teachers Assistant/Aide course as well. This is something else intend completing shortly.

After some wonderful encouragement from friends I have also just registered my business Fee Lee Designs. I am still working out the finer details and to be honest what direction to set off in. So this is all the start of something new. My journey. A new beginning. So hear goes...

As I log my first Blog entry I would like to mention how absolutely terrifying and difficult it was to right this entry.  I am for the most part a very private person. Like most others I would expect.  So to write a blog was all very foreign and extremely new to me..  Therefore If I am ignorant to the world of Blogging (if there is such a word) I hope anyone who decides to follow me can forgive me.  Time and experience fixes and heals all.  So I am told.
